How does a Spotify song become an MP3?
Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer stream encrypted audio, so no tool can simply save their files. Swoopy reads the track's title, artist and length from the link, finds the same recording on YouTube Music and sends it as MP3 or M4A with the right tags and cover.
Questions people ask
Can I download a whole Spotify playlist?
Yes, up to 50 tracks at a time. Songs longer than 10 minutes are skipped.
What if I don't have a link?
Type the song's name, typos and all: Swoopy shows up to 60 matches and you pick one.
MP3 or M4A: which one?
M4A is the audio exactly as YouTube Music has it; MP3 plays on any old player and in any car. Both come with the title, the artist and the cover.
Is it legal?
Download only what you have the rights to, such as music you bought or tracks shared under a free license. Swoopy is a tool; how it's used is up to you.
